A focus on specialists

The knowledge base of La Compagnie Financière Edmond de Rothschild is built around two main areas of expertise:

  • private banking, requires experts in fields such as wealth management, asset engineering, life insurance, etc.

  • asset management, offers careers in fund management, fund distribution, middle- and back-office services, etc.

Corporate advisory services demand leading-edge skills in mergers and acquisitions, financial analysis, etc.

Recruitment and intergration

Once recruited to La Compagnie Financière Edmond de Rothschild, for your skills and your willingness to subscribe to our Group values, you will be given personalised induction and support (from the first day at work to the end-of-probation interview...).

Training and development

We actively support all employees’ professional development as part of the promotion of talents and skills within the Group. In line with this policy, each employee takes a lead role in determining their own career path.

Training, professional development, opportunities for functional mobility and the creation of new career paths are priorities for our human resources management.

  • Training:

    Our employees are offered training programmes tailored to the needs of their job, but also to developing their technical and managerial skills as part of specific projects. Individual training projects are run regularly (Right to Individual Training, programmes leading to qualifications, etc.).

  • Personal support at each career stage:

    Regular assessment meetings provide a special opportunity for dialogue, for preparing the skills you will need in the future and for ensuring each of our employees can really manage their careers.

  • Mobility policy:

    Group employees have the opportunity to move into new roles and new subsidiaries in France and abroad and are encouraged to do so through an active policy of internal mobility.

Students

Multiple opportunities for young talent

More than a hundred talented young people come to La Compagnie Financière Edmond de Rothschild each year as interns or under trainee contracts, in all branches of the business. We are deeply committed to giving motivated students the chance to play a full part in the Group’s activities.

Join us as an intern or trainee

We recruit students all year round from a range of backgrounds, university, business school or engineering graduates who demonstrate a keenness to learn more about the Group. To ensure successful integration to the company, we favour serious, independent candidates with good organisational skills and an open mind.

A key opportunity for professionalisation

Throughout your internship, you will receive personalised support from an appointed mentor.

The range of tasks and responsibilities your are called on to fulfil will help build up real skills, sharing the expertise of our teams.

As well as getting an introduction to our different careers, you will be immersed in the Group culture, which emphasises rigour, independence and innovation.

This internship may, in some cases, end with you being offered a job at the Bank.

The recruitment process

We consider each candidate with the greatest care and answer all applications in around three weeks.

If selected, you will be invited in to meet the operational managers (1 or 2 interviews) and the human resources team (1 interview).

Relationships with schools/universities

Through partnerships, we are developing close relations with a number of target schools and universities. Accordingly, we take part in admissions committees, presentations to students and on-site interviews. We also publicise our internship offers through the school and university networks. Our managers are also frequently involved in schools and universities, either as teachers or active members of alumni associations.
