The strategy : Innovative development capital
As well as investments in biotechnology and information technology companies, the team has built a portfolio with holdings in companies operating in more traditional industrial and service sectors.
The team supports listed and unlisted companies that are profitable or close to profitability whose turnover exceeds €5 million, which show strong growth and in which the CEO is a significant shareholder.
The funds either make equity contributions to finance the internal development of the company and acquisitions or purchase shares following a reorganisation of the shareholding structure.
The FCPI funds invest in minority shareholdings, placing from €1 to €4 million per investment. In addition, the team is capable of structuring larger transactions with historical partners.
Partnership with the executives
Our organization and reactivity enable company managers to obtain swift, constructive responses to their proposals to open their capital or sell shareholdings.
Through our partnership with each portfolio company and its management team, typically over a five-year period, we aim to support management on the key issues facing the company, being for example: strategic thinking, internal organization (production, logistics, financial management etc), or planning and financing acquisitions.
The aim of our ‘active investor’ approach is to optimize the value of the business for all the shareholders.
